" 'They are not your friends, they're your fucking employees!' (It's no wonder Kay was seeking information about out of body experiences.) It wasn't long thereafter that the police came to the office, looking for John.  He never showed up and, from what I understand, he went on the run, leaving others to deal with his mess, including the business, disgruntled employees..."  Click here to read the full comment

Worldpeace is at it again. I just noticed a new case filing in Harris County District Court (#165): "Joyce Wolter vs. Deutsche Bank Trust", #200654100. To be sure, Worldpeace is behind this, as he has for every other filing done by Wolter. All of which, Worldpeace has lost. Here's his track record on court cases so far (to be sure, this is an incomplete list!):

#14-05-00055-CV "Joyce Wolter vs. Joe Delgatto". Appeals court opinion affirmed March 16, 2006, overruling all Wolter's issues and affirming trial court rulings against Wolter. This also includes ruling Wolter as a "vexatious litigant";

#H-04-2094, United States District Court for Southern Texas, "Bill Heard Enterprises vs. John Worldpeace". On most all points, ruled against Worldpeace, including statutory damages of $25,000 against Worldpeace.

#06-0245, Texas Supreme Court. Worldpeace petition for writ of habeas corpus, and motion for for rehearing disposed (i.e., denied), 6/16/06

#06-0191, Petition for Review of Commission for Lawyer Discipline ruling against Worldpeace. Disposed, Motion to rehear, disposed, 6/16/06

05-1063, Petition for writ of habeas corpus (again!), disposed, 12/23/2005

04-0424, Petition to review, Worldpeace vs. Johnell Collins, disposed, 5/4/2004

04-0234, petition for writ of mandamus, disposed; motion for rehearing, disposed, 6/11/2004

03-1139, petition for writ of mandamus (again!), disposed, motion for rehearing, disposed, 3/5/2004

03-1117, 03-1084, 03-1083, 03-1082, 03-1079, 03-1070, 03-1069, 03-1049, 03-1023, 03-1022, 03-0990, 03-0978, all writs of madamus (vexatiously?!), all disposed, all motions for rehearing disposed.

From my layman's eyes, this is not a very good track record! I could opine more, but, in the words of the court, I'll simply say all this looks "vexatious", to say the least. His disbarment is well-deserved. Is in he jail yet??
