I simply requested something writing of what they verbally said they were going to pay and I forwarded a copy to an attorney friend of mine, and Mr Worldpeace responded in a way that only a person who has something to hide would respond. I am forwarding info to the better business bureau and Texas Workforce. Do not work for this company."  - Gary Arndt

If this Worldpeace guy is as dishonest as these reports suggest how come no one has ever filed a complaint at Rip-off Report?

The answer to why no report has been made with advocacy websites like Rip-Off Report is because most are consumer advocacy.
Beware Of This Company is dealing with mainly employment-related issues at Worldpeace Web Design and with John Worldpeace.
These reports fall into a different legal category than if a consumer who may have problems after purchasing web design services from Worldpeace Web Design.

Thanks. That makes sense. Well surely there are complaints that fall into this category as well.

The reason these people are not filing anything because it is all groundless. These are for the most part little people. We were selling Mr. Arndt a $500 web site and he wanted a 10 page contract. I have practiced law and contracts are only worth the word of the makers. A man that hires an attorney for $300 to advise him on a $500 deal is an idiot and I chose not to deal with him and told him why. He needs to post up my letter and his demands. But he wont. He will look like the idiot he is if he posts those documents.

How do you know, John, that his attorney is paid $300? Maybe his attorney is a friend, and advised him for free.

"I have practiced law and contracts are only worth the word of the makers." True indeed, contracts are only worth as much as the integrity of those behind them. So, are you saying any contract you made is worthless, because it is backed by a worthless company/person?!

Contracts are still made and signed everyday in this country, so they still must have some use. If you were uncomfortable about creating a contract with your customer, perhaps you shouldn't be in business.

"They are for the most part little people." Ah yes! Love your Christian attitude there!
